This product is packed with value as great rookies and great cards combine to make a fantastic product. Highlighted by over 25 rookies per box, plus the always popular refractors (on average 6 per box) and relics and autograph cards inserted 1 in every 2 boxes!
The only autographed insert is the Chromographs, a set consisting of only 12 players. However, there is a good bit of quality in the on-card autograph insert, including Shaquille O'Neal, Ray Allen, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade. Other inserts come in the form of various relic cards.
The 2003-04 Topps Chrome Basketball base set consists of 165 cards and an unnumbered checklist card. Cards 1-110 are veteran players, while the remaining 55 cards are rookies. The cards mirror the 2003-04 Topps base design, but with a chrome finish. Action images were exchanged for the originals on the rookie cards, and a dozen of the foreign players have a variation with the card back written in their native language. Gold Refractor base cards are /99 for veterans and /50 for rookies.
