The 1975 Topps Hockey consists of 330 cards. The set would remain Topps’ biggest hockey issue until the 1990 edition. This 1975 set utilized unique design elements that included a color likeness of the player with the team name boldly identified at the top and his identified noted in somewhat smaller print at the bottom. A hockey puck design is cut into the white-bordered image and states his position. Each card back features statistical information, a brief biography and a player fact or referee signal. Stan Mikita, Ken Dryden, and Bobby Orr are top guys in the set. The 1975 issue also marked the first use of a team checklist on the reverse of team cards (#s 81-98).
